We rent out sea containers at the Port of Shanghai (China) specifically for export routes to Russia. Shanghai (Yangshan and Waigaoqiao ports) is the world's largest container hub and the main gateway for shipping electronics, industrial equipment, furniture, textiles, and auto parts from the Yangtze River Delta.

At our yards in Shanghai, we always have equipment ready for immediate loading:

  • 20DC — standard 20-foot dry containers (optimal for heavy cargo: equipment, metal products, chemicals)

  • 40DC — standard 40-foot dry containers

  • 20HC / 40HC — High Cube containers with increased capacity

We finalize the deal within a single business day. Containers are supplied in NEW, IICL, or CW condition.

Important: We strictly do not work with "As-Is" condition units. We guarantee airtightness and fully functional hardware to ensure your cargo remains reliably protected from precipitation and mechanical damage throughout the entire transit route.

Why Choose Our Container Rental in Shanghai?

Exclusive Repositioning Rates

We offer special tariffs for returning equipment. You pay a nominal fee for the rental (especially for 20DC), while we solve our logistical task of relocating the units. It is a win-win deal for both parties.

Empty Drop-off in 13+ Russian Cities

You do not need to return the container to China. After unloading, you drop off the empty container at our depot in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, or another destination city. No backhaul freight costs.

Quality Guarantee (NEW, IICL, CW)

Every container undergoes an airtightness and floor integrity check before handover. All units hold a valid international CSC certification, which is critical for shipping line acceptance.

Deep Knowledge of Shanghai Depot

We work with Yangshan and Waigaoqiao terminals daily, knowing all the nuances of local logistics, documentation (VGM, release order), and interacting with Chinese freight forwarders.

Who Benefits Most from Renting Containers from Shanghai to Russia?

Importers of industrial equipment and auto parts

The Yangtze River Delta is a global center for machinery manufacturing. For heavy cargo, we provide 20-foot containers with verified floor conditions, capable of withstanding high point loads during multimodal transportation.

Furniture and home goods suppliers

For bulky but light cargo, we provide 40HC units, allowing you to maximize volumetric loading at a fixed rental rate. The IICL condition eliminates the risk of leaks and cargo damage.

Logistics companies and freight forwarders

A shortage of empty containers during peak seasons is a frequent issue in Shanghai. By leasing equipment from us under the One-Way Lease program, you get a predictable budget and fixed timelines, independent of shipping line quotas and whims.

Why these prices? These are special repositioning (return) tariffs. It is critically important for operators to return empty containers from China to Russia. The price depends on the space occupied: a 20ft container takes up half the space (1 TEU) in a rail consist or on a vessel compared to a 40ft unit, so its rate is roughly 20–30% of the 40HC price. This makes 20DC an exceptionally cost-effective option for heavy cargo.
