We sell sea containers for use within Singapore and for international export-import operations via the republic's ports.

Singapore is the world's second-busiest container port and the main transit hub of Southeast Asia. Purchasing a container outright in this location allows logistics companies, manufacturers, and traders to avoid peak storage fees (demurrage/detention) at PSA terminals, create mobile warehouse capacity in a land-scarce environment, and guarantee the availability of quality equipment for high-tech cargo.

Important: We fundamentally do not work with "As-Is" condition. The Singapore market imposes the highest requirements on cargo safety and security. Our fleet consists exclusively of inspected, watertight, and reliable containers. Using dilapidated equipment in Singapore is unacceptable due to high labor costs, strict oversight by the Maritime and Port Authority (MPA), and the risk of damaging expensive goods.

At our partner yards in Singapore, we always have the following in stock:

  • 20’ DC: Standard twenty-foot containers (ideal for electronics, auto components, and chemical products).

  • 40’ DC: Standard forty-foot containers.

  • 20’ HC / 40’ HC: High-capacity High Cube containers (optimal for consumer goods, textiles, and bulky cargo).

  • Reefer containers: For pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and food products (available upon request).

Deals are processed promptly. Containers are sold in NEW, IICL, or CW condition.

How to Buy a Container in Singapore?

  1. Location Selection: Determine the delivery point: Tuas industrial zone, Jurong, Changi, or a PSA terminal. We will select the container type and condition.

  2. Contract: We sign a sale and purchase agreement, fixing the price, the container's BIC number, and handover conditions.

  3. Payment: We accept non-cash payments (in USD).

Local Expertise: Singapore Terminals and Global Trade

Understanding Singapore's infrastructure is critical for optimizing your logistics chains:

1. PSA Singapore Container Terminals

PSA operates the Port of Singapore, which consists of several key zones:

  • Pasir Panjang Terminal: The current main container hub, equipped with advanced automation systems. We ensure rapid container release and delivery from this zone, minimizing downtime.

  • Tuas Mega Port: The global port of the future, currently under active construction. It will be fully automated and become the largest in the world. The containers we sell fully comply with Tuas's strict technical standards, making them an ideal future-proof investment.

  • Keppel Terminal and Brani Terminal: Specialized zones that are gradually being integrated into the broader Tuas ecosystem.

2. Trade Ties: Singapore and China

China is Singapore's largest trading partner. Logistics between these countries is highly technological and bidirectional:

  • Imports from China: Electronic components, semiconductors, industrial raw materials, and consumer goods arrive in Singapore. Storing these requires IICL or NEW condition containers to guarantee protection against tropical moisture and dust.

  • Exports to China: Singapore supplies China with high-tech equipment, petrochemical products (from Jurong Island), biotechnology developments, and re-exports goods from ASEAN countries.

3. Singapore's Global Trade Network

Beyond China, Singapore is a key node for trade with:

  • ASEAN Countries: Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand (primary destinations for re-export and cargo distribution).

  • USA and the European Union: Transit of high-tech products, pharmaceuticals, and precision engineering goods.

  • Middle East: Supplies of petroleum products and liquefied natural gas (LNG).

Who Benefits from Buying a Container in Singapore: Industry Scenarios

Electronics and Semiconductor Manufacturers

Singapore is a global hub for microchip and electronics manufacturing. For storing and transporting sensitive components, we provide only IICL and NEW condition containers. They undergo strict watertightness checks, eliminating the risk of condensation ("container sweat"), which can fatally damage microchips in the island's high humidity.

Petrochemical Companies (Jurong Island)

Jurong Island is one of the world's largest integration hubs for the petrochemical industry. Storing chemical reagents, polymers, and specialized equipment requires CW condition containers or better, with verified floor integrity and no residues from previous cargoes, complying with strict Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) safety standards.

Logistics Operators and 3PL Providers

Given Singapore's limited land, renting space for stationary warehouses is extremely expensive. Purchasing a fleet of containers allows companies to create flexible, mobile cross-docking and buffer storage zones within Free Trade Zones (FTZs), avoiding high storage tariffs inside PSA terminals.

Construction and Marine Engineering Companies

Due to large-scale infrastructure projects (Tuas port expansion, land reclamation, MRT construction), containers are used as vandal-proof, fire-safe storage for expensive tools, generators, and materials directly on-site, without requiring building permits.

Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Companies

For storing and transiting medical drugs and vaccines, we supply reefer containers with a valid PTI (Pre-Trip Inspection) certificate, guaranteeing the maintenance of strict temperature regimes in accordance with Health Sciences Authority (HSA) standards.

Approximate Cost of Sea Containers in Singapore

Prices are quoted per unit on FCA terms (PSA terminal or warehouse in the industrial zone). The Singapore market is premium, and prices reflect the highest equipment quality, strict MPA compliance, and the island's logistics costs.
